Destination Wedding in Saaremaa Island, Estonia
This rustic wedding was my first destination wedding abroad and it was in gorgeous Saaremaa island in Estonia. I had always wanted to visit the island and when I got an email from the bride, Ida, I knew right away that this wedding would be special! And it truly was!
Ida and Jussi had really planned their wedding to look like them two. They are both nature lovers. Both of them rather wear wool shirts than collared shirts, feel the grass under their feet, and love winding down at their summer cottage. For their wedding, they wanted a location which would have that rustic feel with a genuine and authentic service. Metsara Bed & Breakfast was the perfect location for them. The Estonian country side feel was just unique: old buildings, ancient stone walls, grass fields and castle ruins completely sealed the deal.
Ida is a food photographer and blogger. So what else can I expect than spot on table design, well-thought florals, and delicious catering. Ida and Jussi had even visited tens of flea markets to find over 100 unique digestive glasses for their dessert table. Each one different of course. Check out Ida’s blog from here.
This wedding was definitely one for the books, and I’m excited to share the images with you!
